Acquisition for Ridge

Ridge & Partners has announced it is to acquire Birmingham-based Adept Management, strengthening its proposition in the rapidly growing infrastructure sector.
Ridge said that Adept’s portfolio of nuclear, transport and defence projects, with expertise in project controls and design management, complemented its own strengths in the building sector.
As well as adding 50 staff to Ridge’s 1,300-strong team, the deal accelerates Ridge’s strategic diversification, bringing new clients in rising sectors.
“This acquisition represents an opportunity to drive growth, enhance our expertise, and create greater value for our teams, clients and partners,” said Ridge partner Jolyon Price. “By combining our strengths and deepening our capabilities in project and programme controls and design management, we are further establishing ourselves as a leader in the project and programme management space. This strategic partnership significantly expands our presence in infrastructure, where client demand for specialist expertise continues to grow.”
Adept managing director John Steele added: “Partnering with Ridge marks a major milestone in Adept’s growth journey, providing the platform to achieve our full potential. Together, we combine specialist programme management expertise with Ridge’s broad technical capabilities, creating a powerful integrated offer that bridges the public and private sectors.
“With Ridge’s national footprint and established client base, we’re now ideally placed to grow in new markets, secure long-term infrastructure projects, and deliver even greater value to our clients through collaboration.”
