Glasgow contractors join forces
M Squared, which specialists in landscaping and groundworks, has invested what is described as seven figures into repairs and maintenance specialist EBS Construction Limited.
Both companies are based in Glasgow.
EBS has more than 50 years of industry experience in structural repairs, stone masonry and building restoration works across Scotland. EBS directors David Sinclair and Brian Ticcioni will work with the M Squared team to build the client base further.
M Squared has been in business for 10 years and turned over approximately £10m last year. It is targeting £25m in revenue by 2027, both by organic growth and acquisitions.
M Squared founder and managing director Kerr McEwan has joined the board of EBS. He said: “EBS has an impressive legacy in the repairs and maintenance sector in Scotland and we can’t wait to start working alongside David and Brian to capitalise on the clear synergies between our two businesses.
“For M Squared, this investment represents an important development as we continue to build the in-house capabilities of our team ahead of a significant period of growth expected over the next 12 months.”
EBS’ Brian Ticcioni added: “This investment from M Squared marks a significant milestone in the long history of EBS. We are excited to work with Kerr and his team to implement a strategy that will expand our market reach and deliver our value proposition to a wider client base.”
